All eyes appeared to be on me. i'd been slagged on countless occasions about not being worthy of my race. to be unable to execute in the clutch. a choker. a disgrace.
no longer. 3-1 in a dominant victory over my nemesis - the machine to win the championship. i was the more aggressive player and although she was game defensivly, i eventually wore her down, going up 2-0 in sets, and not quite closing it out in the third, but dominating the fourth.
that ends my first forray into the world of institute ping pong.

but for the record - LZ is still the real champ, since she beat me the last time we played - 3.5 years ago....

Wow. It's incredible you weren't selected for the Olympic team. What a loss for Canada. Maybe next quadrennial, eh?
